Hua Hin, Thailand, Freshwater Trip - April 27 to May 1st 2012

Got a trip arranged on date above, and flights were booked just earlier today.

I have been wanting to do few freshwater fishing trips, just few and enough to experience the unique and extraordinary run, hide, headshake, sprint and what have you of each selected specie. Sebarau, or hampala as some called it, has been one of them.

The trip I planned on year 2010 was canceled by the trip agent because of some stories that did not match among the head the tail. For some reason I did not arrange anything for my freshwater "signatures" trip in year 2011, and I hope I will have this trip smoothly materialized.

The travelling route will be from Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok via Malaysia Airlines on April 27, 2012. Follow by 3 hours journey from Bangkok to Hua Hin, South of Bangkok.

Updated on April 21, 2012

Raining season came much earlier to Hua Hin this year. I was told by the charter that the river water is getting murky, access way is getting muddy and perhaps an alternate fishing ground further south would be better choice.

So we are going south, to rivers of Chiaolarn lake.

Nice Villa in Taiping

Went for year-end holidays last December at this place and thought it was a great spot to chill out and relax. It took us some 15 minutes of driving to Taiping town so it is pretty convenient.

The name of the place, located not far from main road towards the way to entrance to Maxwell Hill check-in point.

Walk way along the stream in the villa garden.

This stream is located between the villa and forest, blended very well into the overall green, peaceful garden.

Branches of trees beside Taiping Lake Garden, snapped early in the morning.

When I walked by this hut with this lazy chair I thought it would be awesome to sit here, listen to the sound of forest, and perhaps trying to do some reading. I ended up sleeping in my room ... a big waste, obviously.

A stand alone unit, a little more expensive.

The care taker of this place make good use of the natural stream and this pool was actually an arowana rearing pool.

My nephew playing with sands happily, something he will surely missed when he is back in city. Love the big wide grin on his face. Your uncle wish you will grow up happily like this, boy.

Joy of children is contagious magically, aren't they?

Place where kids left their sandals and have fun with sands, streams and everything else.
